Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build highly available and secure AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Redshift, ECS, Route 53, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, Cost Explorer, and others.
  • Set up ECS/EKS clusters, configure deployments, and implement performance-based scaling.
  • Automate infrastructure setup using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set up new environments based on specific landing page requirements and industry best practices.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
  • AWS IAM: Configure roles, policies, and user groups.
  • RDS databases (MySQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MariaDB): Set up and manage intranet user access.
  • Network configurations: VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, NAT Gateways, Internet Gateways, Route 53, WAF.
  • DevOps and CI/CD processes: Bitbucket/GitHub pipeline creation and ticketing systems like ServiceNow and Jira.
  • Cost analysis and resource optimization: Trusted Advisor, Cost Explorer, tagging.
  • AMI upgrades, patch application, and maintenance window management.
  • Monitoring: New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana.
Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture best practices and security guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with clear communication skills. Collaborate effectively as a proactive and supportive team player.
