Admissions and Counselling Specialist

Career Guidance and Student Support

  • Counsels prospective students and guides them on various undergraduate and postgraduate courses, enhancing their knowledge and helping them make informed decisions.
  • Assesses student needs and advises them on suitable degree programs and admission procedures, ensuring a smooth transition into higher education.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provides counselling services to prospective students through multiple channels, including data calling, online chat servers, and telephone calls, addressing their queries and concerns.
  2. Converts leads into successful admissions, leveraging effective communication skills and in-depth knowledge of the education sector.
  3. Maintains accurate records of interactions with students, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  4. Handles phone inquiries efficiently, providing timely support and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles, preferably in the education sector or a related industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • A customer-centric mindset, prioritizing exceptional service delivery and student satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
