Job Title: System Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced System Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining system uptime, handling incident management, and ensuring performance optimization across mainframe environments.

The System Support Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining system uptime through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Handling incident management by identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Ensuring performance optimization through regular maintenance tasks and troubleshooting critical production issues.
  • Providing support for Mainframe systems in a 24x7 production environment.
  • Collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in Mainframe system support.
  • Strong knowledge in z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, RACF, DB2, CICS, CA-7, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience in managing production environments, troubleshooting abends, and resolving system issues.
  • Solid understanding of mainframe infrastructure components and job scheduling tools.
  • Hands-on experience with performance monitoring and incident management.
  • Good understanding of change and release management processes.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
