Job Overview:

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for designing and building system testbeds using various networking devices and servers.

Key Responsibilities include conducting QA validation of 802.11 Wireless and Mist proprietary features, performing end-to-end validation of client to cloud architecture, recreating customer issues in lab and collaborating with cross-functional teams for resolution, conducting performance testing using iPerf, working closely with CS team to review defects and enhance test coverage, creating bugs in Jira and tracking them with Engineering teams, timely escalation of critical issues, and developing technical documentation for CS and QA teams.

  • Lead Engineer Requirements:
    • A Lead Engineer with 8+ years of experience is required.
    • BE/ME/MS in EE, CS or related discipline is necessary.
    • In-depth knowledge of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax protocol standards is essential.
    • Hands-on experience in QA validation of Enterprise grade Wireless Access Points is mandatory.
    • Basic concepts of routing and switching (including VLAN, DHCP, DNS, NAT, Trunk/Native) are required.
    • Hands-on experience in validating IEEE802.1x feature using Freeradius or any standard RADIUS server is needed.
    • In-depth knowledge of various 802.11 protocols such as 802.11r/k/v is desired.
    • Must have experience in troubleshooting based on Wireless packet captures.
    • Passion for solving customer issues and advocating for their success in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
    • Ability to quickly assess the technical aspects of a problem is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

CWNA/CWSP/CWAP Certified, Scripting in Python, Hands-on experience on ISE/ClearPass, Basic knowledge of L2TPv3/IPsec are preferred qualifications.
