Job Title: Senior Data Engineering Lead

Overview:

We seek a visionary leader with strong data engineering expertise to lead our team. This senior role requires experience in designing, developing, and managing scalable data infrastructure and pipelines.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to enable robust data-driven decision-making and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of data engineers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
  • Architect and oversee implementation of large-scale data pipelines, data lakes, and cloud-based data warehouses using Databricks and Apache Spark.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability of data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into efficient data solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 18 years of professional experience in data engineering with at least 12 years in leadership or senior technical roles.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Databricks and Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.

Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly valued.
