**Job Title:** Executive Director of Manufacturing Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving operational excellence, team development, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as JPH (Jobs Per Hour), OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and downtime to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead quality assurance efforts to ensure adherence to dimensional accuracy, fit & finish, and welding standards.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to resolve line-level quality issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Implement automation and ergonomic improvements to reduce non-value-added activities and improve line balancing.
  • Manage and mentor production supervisors and line staff to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Coordinate with R&D and technical services for new model launches and ensure station readiness and compliance with pre-launch checklists.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
  • 15-20 years of experience in automotive production with expertise in bus/coach body building, BIW, assembly, and EV.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and ISO/TS certifications preferred.
  • Strong understanding of bus body structure design and manufacturing.
  • Leadership and team management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Cost control and budgeting, ERP/MRP systems proficiency.
  • Safety and compliance awareness, performance metrics, and analytical skills.
