Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

You will work closely with other IT staff to acquire additional technical and non-technical knowledge, and will be expected to perform a variety of tasks, including troubleshooting computer and mobile device hardware, analyzing and verifying statistical information, and maintaining ITSM knowledge bases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of accounting applications, Microsoft products, and video conferencing software, as well as experience supporting end-users in a Microsoft environment. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, ITIL processes, and SLA, Priority & Severity Matrix.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Respond to Team Member questions and inquiries via telephone, email, web and other communication methods in a timely manner; enter, assign and track service requests in the ITSM system; refer service issues to IT leadership.
  • Problem Analysis and Resolution: Communicate, analyze and troubleshoot Team Member problems and provide proper solutions or remedies; properly document problem tickets into the ITSM System.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with other IT staff to acquire additional technical and non-technical knowledge; assist other IT technical staff in providing Team Members feedback and support.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years working experience in related support service field.
  • Education: Associate degree in an IT related field or combination of education and technical training required.
  • Certifications: Windows 10/11, CompTIA A+, or CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft Azure certification.
  • Skills: Strong working knowledge of accounting applications, Microsoft products, video conferencing software, and networking fundamentals; experience supporting end-users in a Microsoft environment.
