Financial Management Specialist

Job Description:

The role involves overseeing the financial management of various funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include preparing, analyzing, and disseminating financial information to stakeholders, managing capital call and distribution processes, and collecting and analyzing financial data.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare periodic reports for investors and stakeholders.
  • Manage fund's capital call and distribution processes.
  • Collect and analyze financial data from various sources.
  • Calculate fund's performance and financial position.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, complete, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Extract trial balance and general ledgers for month-end close.
  • Review and maintain data for NAV, commitment & uncalled commitment at investor level.
  • Prepare distribution journal entries based on distribution tracker and record within accounting system.
  • Preparation of quarterly estimates for portfolio performance.
  • Review, format and upload monthly fund close entries impacting assets, liabilities, income and expenses extracted from portfolio tracking system to accounting system.
  • Prepare regulatory filings (e.g. Form PF, ADV) for specific credit fund entities.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual financials in accordance with US GAAP and/or IFRS.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Accounting certification such as Chartered Accountant / CPA / ACCA is desired.
  • 5 plus years of experience in fund reporting, accounting and control.
  • Knowledge of fund accounting principles and ability to maintain accurate and complete capital account records.
  • Experience in preparing regular financial reports for credit funds, including NAV, performance reports, and presentations.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and ability to ensure compliance with all relevant requirements.
  • Ability to perform complex financial analysis and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and systems, such as Investran, etc.
  • Ability to manage large amounts of data accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Systems/Tools/Application knowledge:
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel.
