Job Description:

As a Business Operations Analyst at Amazon's Category Team in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our business operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams across Amazon, including merchandising and sales, to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business strategies and plans to optimize operational processes and procedures.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on business data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify and assess business risks to ensure effective mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Work with other teams across Amazon to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have:
  • 1-3 years of experience working in operations, e-commerce, or retail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and database applications, with the ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Ability to dive deep into problems and perform root cause analysis to identify constraints and recommend solutions.
  • Experience with project management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
