Data Integration Specialist

The role of a Data Integration Specialist involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data solutions using various tools. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with data integration platforms, strong working knowledge of data modeling techniques, proficiency in SQL, and expertise in cloud data warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the EDW.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and implement data models, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and performance optimization.
  • Work closely with the data governance team to ensure adherence to data security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in data integration/ETL development.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques, including star schema, snowflake schema, and slowly changing dimensions.
  • Proficiency in Python or JavaScript for custom transformations or APIs.
  • Experience with DevOps/CI-CD for ETL (Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes).
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
