Corporate Action Specialist

Description

The role of a corporate action specialist involves processing transactions related to corporate actions and income events. This includes cash payments, dividends, interest, liquidation, redemption, mergers, capital increases, tender offers, and stock splits.

Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for validating and confirming corporate action-related events, computing entitlements and accruals, and reconciling activities to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2-4 years of experience in financial or capital markets, preferably in transfer agency operations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, both independently and in supporting others
  • Strong time management skills and flexibility to meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to an environment of openness and information sharing
  • Excellent team player with strong initiative and motivation
