Highly skilled professionals are sought after for a challenging Principal Software Engineer position. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in .NET web application development, architecture, and programming skills including C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Web API, and RESTful services.

Proficiency in SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Entity Framework Core, database design, and optimization is required. Strong expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3 is also necessary. A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and SOLID principles is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities include writing and reviewing high-quality code, understanding functional requirements thoroughly, and analyzing client needs. The successful candidate will envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, determine and implement design methodologies and tool sets, and coordinate requirements, schedules, and activities to enable application development.

Key responsibilities also include leading or supporting UAT and production roll-outs, creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given modules/tasks, addressing issues promptly, and responding positively to setbacks and challenges. Additionally, the candidate will give constructive feedback and set clear expectations, troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs, and come up with solutions to any issue raised during code/design review.

The ideal candidate will have strong working experience in .NET web application development, experience with Azure/AWS cloud services, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest) and CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of design patterns, Concurrent design, and multithreading is also required. Hands-on working experience in Security OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and HTTPS is necessary for success in this role.
