Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our credit lending platform team.

This role involves designing and deploying scalable ML solutions that power loan origination, decisioning, and management systems. As a critical member of the AI-driven lending platform, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of credit scoring and risk assessment models.

  • Design and Develop: Credit scoring and risk assessment models (classification, regression, alternative data models) that ensure accurate predictions and minimize defaults.
  • Build Scalable Pipelines: ETL/ELT pipelines on Microsoft Azure for structured and semi-structured financial/telco data, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Implement Model Monitoring and Governance Workflows: Track model performance, retrain frameworks, and governance workflows to maintain regulatory compliance and optimize model performance.
  • Develop APIs and Microservices: Seamlessly integrate with LOS, LMS, and external systems using well-designed APIs and microservices.
  • Collaborate with Analysts and Product Owners: Translate business rules into ML/AI-driven logic, driving data-driven decisions and enhancing customer experience.
  • Ensure Compliance: Regulatory requirements such as Basel III, GDPR, PDPA, and integrate model explainability (XAI) to maintain transparency and trust.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python, PySpark, SQL, and ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

Hands-on experience with Azure ML, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Cosmos DB, and API design/integration is also essential.

A strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in financial services is crucial for success in this role.

Prior experience with banks, fintechs, or telcos in credit/lending solutions is preferred, but not required.
