Job Title: Electrical Installation Specialist

This role involves working in a fast-paced industrial environment to install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and testing electrical components and systems ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • They must possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to diagnose faults in switchgear, transformers, battery chargers, UPS, VFDs and other electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation of electrical components and systems
  • Maintenance of electrical systems
  • Troubleshooting of electrical faults
  • Ensuring all electrical work complies with industry standards and codes
  • Working closely with engineers, supervisors and technical staff to execute maintenance and repair tasks

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ITI in Electrical Trade from an AICTE-recognized institute or non-ITI candidates with 10+ years of industrial experience in reputed Oil Gas, Petrochemical, or Fertilizer plants
  • Proficiency in English, Hindi and Bengali with the ability to write technical reports in English
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical failures and system malfunctions
  • Knowledge of hazardous electrical equipment and area classification in petrochemical complexes
  • Conversant with ISO standards and quality control requirements
