Video Content Creator

We're seeking a talented and experienced video editor to lead the creation of engaging video content for our dynamic video strategy. This role involves crafting compelling and visually appealing video content tailored for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and content strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience in editing raw video footage into polished videos, reels, shorts, and promotional materials. They should be proficient in creative editing techniques, including transitions, color grading, motion graphics, text animations, and sound design to elevate storytelling.

In addition to these technical skills, the successful candidate will have excellent collaboration and communication skills, working closely with content creators, videographers, and social media teams to deliver timely, brand-consistent content. They should also be able to optimize videos for various social media formats and aspect ratios to maximize engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging videos, reels, shorts, and promotional materials
  • Apply creative editing techniques to elevate storytelling
  • Collaborate with content creators, videographers, and social media teams to deliver timely, brand-consistent content
  • Optimize videos for various social media formats and aspect ratios to maximize engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree or relevant certification in Film Production, Media, Communication, or related fields
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in video editing
  • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects
  • Demonstrated ability in visual storytelling, pacing, and timing to deliver impactful content
  • Understanding of video optimisation strategies for different social media platforms
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and organisational skills
