Designation: Video Editor

About the Role:

A mid-level Video Editor who will handle end-to-end editing for diverse video projects—marketing, social media, product demos, testimonials, and branded content. Must have experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, with professional to intermediate proficiency in Premiere Pro and intermediate to basic knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Collaboration with creative, content, and design teams will be essential to deliver engaging, visually polished videos aligned with brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into professional, high-quality videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, website, ads)
• Incorporate graphics, music, audio mixing, sound effects, transitions, captions, and colour grading to enhance video impact
• Collaborate regularly with creative leads, marketers, and motion designers to meet project requirements and brand standards
• Review and implement feedback on drafts to produce final cuts within deadlines
• Organise and manage video assets and files for efficient workflow; export videos in required formats
• Stay updated with industry trends, new editing techniques, and video technologies (including AI tools when relevant)
• Maintain a consistent style and brand voice across all videos

Qualification, Experience, and Expertise:

• Bachelor's degree in Media, Communication, Animation, or related field (preferred)
• 2-3 years' hands-on experience with professional video editing (portfolio required)
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe suites such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Sound knowledge of colour correction, audio editing, and motion graphics
• Strong attention to detail; ability to deliver under tight deadlines
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with social media algorithm requirements and digital distribution standards is a plus
