Role Overview:
Were looking for a passionate and creative Script/Content Writer to craft engaging scripts, blogs, and promotional content. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language and the ability to simplify complex ideas for a wide range of audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Refine and enhance educational scripts to make them more engaging, immersive, and captivating for the audience.
- Write clear, engaging, and original scripts for explainer videos, podcasts, and other multimedia formats
- Research topics and simplify complex information into easy-to-understand, impactful narratives
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, designers, and video editors to ensure cohesive storytelling
- Develop blog articles, marketing copy, and promotional content for digital platforms (website, social media, emailers)
- Adapt writing style for different audiences, tones, and platforms
- Edit and proofread content to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Stay up-to-date with trends in content marketing, SEO, and digital storytelling
Requirements:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in English, Mass Communication, Education, Journalism, or relevant field.
- 14 years of experience in script writing, content creation (preferably in EdTech).
- Excellent command of the English language written and verbal.
- Strong storytelling and visualization skills.
- Ability to simplify academic concepts without losing depth.
- (Bonus) Familiarity with video scripting tools, e-learning authoring tools, or SEO.
Good to Have:
- Basic understanding of script formats for YouTube, reels, and short-form content
Experience using AI or writing tools like Grammarly, ChatGPT, Notion, etc.
