Job Title: Tax Advisory Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our tax advisory team in Tirupati, India. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in CA/LLB and strong knowledge of M&A.

Tax Advisory Services

We provide expert advice on structuring deals from a tax perspective, including FEMA, domestic tax law, DTAAs, stamp duty, and other allied laws.

  • Deal Structuring: Our team advises on tax-efficient deal structures that balance commercial rationale and risk.
  • Document Review: We review and draft deal documents, including term sheets, loan agreements, SPAs, disclosures, BTA, merger scheme, reps and warranties, etc.
  • Deal Handholding: Our experts handhold clients in conceptualizing deals with specific focus on India entry/exit strategy, favorable holding jurisdiction, tax efficiency, and commercial rationale.
  • IFSC Gift City Structuring: We advise on possible structuring through the IFSC Gift city.
  • Stakeholder Liaising: Our team front-ends/liaises with various stakeholders, including AD Banker.
  • Due Diligence: We undertake health checks and prepare due diligence reports.
International Tax and FEMA Advisory

We provide advisory services on international tax issues, including PE, profit attribution, business connection, expat tax, ESOPs, indirect transfer, POEM, capital repatriation, royalty, FTS, broadcasting rights, tax transparent entities, etc.

  • ETR Planning Analysis: Our team conducts effective tax rate (ETR) planning analysis for an Indian promoter-held group with 190+ entities.
  • FEMA Compliance: We advise on FEMA and assist in compounding applications.
  • Withholding Applications: Our team assists in lower withholding applications, condonation applications, assessments, appeals at all levels. We engage with senior counsels, preparing synopsis and briefing.
