Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer Researcher Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team. As a key member of our research community, you will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments, setting up computer simulations, data acquisition and analysis, and scientific communication of results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and conducting experiments to advance our understanding of fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
  • Setting up computer simulations using open-source or commercial software to model complex systems.
  • Data acquisition and analysis to extract meaningful insights from experimental and simulation data.
  • Scientific communication of results through various mediums, including publications and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Masters in Engineering/Technology with a strong foundation in fluid mechanics and heat transfer from a mechanical or allied engineering stream.
  • Exceptional students with bachelors degree may also be considered.
  • Experience in experimental work and numerical simulations, as well as knowledge of measurement science and data acquisition is a plus.
  • A course on CFD and/or knowledge of using a CFD software is desirable.
