About this role:

We are looking for a highly skilled data analyst and policy strategist to join our team. As an associate fellow, you will play a key role in shaping evidence-based policies for India's economic transformation.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead data-driven research and policy analysis projects using advanced econometric and statistical methods. You will work closely with state and central governments to develop impactful policies that drive economic growth.

To achieve this goal, you will need to possess strong training in econometrics, statistics, and programming. Experience in empirical research, data analysis, and publication is also essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing data collection strategies
  • Analyzing large-scale datasets to identify trends and patterns
  • Developing policy recommendations based on data-driven insights

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD in Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, or related quantitative discipline
  • Strong background in econometrics, statistics, and programming
  • Experience in empirical research, data analysis, and publication

Bonus Requirements:

  • Familiarity with India's statistical system
  • Strong communication skills for policy briefs, government engagement, and academic publications
