GL Accountant Job Description

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented GL Accountant to join our Finance team in a role that involves strong accounting fundamentals, excellent Excel skills, and prior experience in general ledger management.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2-3 years proven working experience in the accounting domain. Strong technology skills, with expertise in Microsoft Excel, are also required.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Recognize revenue and prepare general ledger entries in compliance with US GAAP and applicable accounting standards.
  • Daily and monthly bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving variances.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • SUPPORTING AUDIT PROCESSES BY PREPARING REQUIRED SCHEDULES AND DOCUMENTATION.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years proven working experience in accounting domain.
  • Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
  • Strong technology skills, with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • Working experience in Sage Intacct is a plus.

A flexible attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.
