Automation Engineering Role

We are seeking an accomplished Automation Engineer to join our team, contributing to the design and development of automated test frameworks. Your primary responsibility will be to create scalable and maintainable test automation solutions using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test frameworks, focusing on scalability and maintainability.
  • Create reusable components and libraries for test automation, streamlining our development process.
  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and implement efficient solutions.
  • Develop and execute UI, API, and integration test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
  • Perform code reviews, mentor junior team members, and enforce automation best practices, promoting excellence within the team.
  • Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions, enhancing our release process.
  • Investigate test failures, analyze logs, and assist in root cause analysis, driving continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for test architecture, processes, and procedures, facilitating knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java, showcasing expertise in these areas.
  • Good understanding of TestNG or JUnit frameworks, demonstrating adaptability.
  • Experience with Maven, Git, and Jenkins, highlighting proficiency in these tools.
  • Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven testing, emphasizing innovation.
  • Hands-on experience with REST API automation (e.g., using RestAssured), showcasing versatility.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies, reflecting a commitment to best practices.
  • Familiarity with tools like Allure, ExtentReports, or Log4j, indicating a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
