Job Title: Engineering Manager - Data

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced and skilled leader to join our Commercial Data team in Advertising. As an Engineering Manager - Data, you'll be responsible for leading end-to-end technical delivery of complex initiatives under our product management pipeline using agile methods and frameworks.

Your primary focus will be on providing technical leadership and guidance to the team, serving as a subject matter expert in data engineering and related technologies. You'll contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions, considering long-term scalability and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical delivery of complex initiatives using agile methods and frameworks.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, serving as a subject matter expert in data engineering and related technologies.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or iterative releasing methodologies.
  • Well-versed in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling.
  • Experience with data governance policies, data quality standards, and data management processes.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of delivery approaches such as TDD, CI, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience developing products that scale and perform for millions of users.
