Automation Systems Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Automation Systems Manager to oversee the design, development, and deployment of automation systems using Siemens PLCs and HMIs.

About the Role:

  • Lead the architecture, development, support and testing of automation solutions using Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
  • Design and implement control strategies using DeltaV DCS platforms.
  • Develop and review PLC logic (Ladder, FBD, STL) and HMI screens using TIA Portal, STEP 7, and WinCC.
  • Integrate Siemens PLCs with DeltaV systems via Profibus, Profinet, and Modbus protocols.
  • Manage a team of automation engineers, providing technical mentorship and quality oversight.
  • Conduct FAT and support for both discrete and process automation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process, electrical, and instrumentation engineers.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including test protocols and validation reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Siemens PLC/HMI development and DeltaV DCS systems.
  • Proficiency in TIA Portal, STEP 7, WinCC Comfort/Advanced, and DeltaV Control Studio.
  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols.
  • Experience in batch process control, alarm management, and HMI/SCADA integration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
