IT Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Security Specialist to protect our organization's proprietary product content and ensure enterprise-grade security across all touchpoints.

About the Role:

  • This individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining comprehensive cybersecurity protocols, safeguarding intellectual property, and ensuring compliance with industry security standards and regulations.
  • The IT Security Specialist will design and enforce Zero Trust security architectures following Zscaler and Okta security models.
  • They will monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats and incidents in real-time, conducting regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
  • Additionally, they will develop and maintain incident response procedures and security documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cybersecurity & Threat Protection:
    • Implementing and maintaining comprehensive cybersecurity protocols.
    • Designing and enforcing Zero Trust security architectures.
    • Monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats and incidents.
    • Conducting regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
  • Microsoft Intune Device Management:
    • Deploying, configuring, and managing Microsoft Intune for cross-platform device management.
    • Implementing Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) policies.
    • Configuring Conditional Access policies and device compliance requirements.
    • Managing device enrollment processes and user provisioning/de-provisioning.
    • Integrating Azure Active Directory for Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities.
  • Cloud Security Implementation:
    • Configuring and maintaining Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
    • Implementing cloud firewall policies and network security controls.
    • Monitoring network traffic and optimizing security policies based on threat intelligence.
    • Managing user access controls and role-based permissions.
    • Coordinating with Zscaler support for escalated security incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT security, network administration, or related roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 security features.
  • Knowledge of Zscaler ZIA/ZPA or similar cloud security platforms.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust security principles and implementation.
  • Experience with endpoint security, mobile device management, and cloud security.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
