Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to lead and mentor our incident response team. This role is ideal for a seasoned expert who can foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and guide the incident response team to ensure timely and effective responses to security incidents.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain our incident response strategy, processes, and playbooks to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for significant cybersecurity incidents, providing clear guidance and direction to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery phases of cybersecurity incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to coordinate incident response efforts and ensure seamless communication.
  • Provide timely reporting to stakeholders, including executive management and regulatory bodies, on incident status and resolution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).
  • 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years in incident response or security operations leadership roles.
  • Deep understanding of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Proficiency in incident response tools, including SIEM, EDR, and SOAR platforms, as well as forensic tools.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, malware analysis, and threat hunting techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and crisis management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, GCIH, or CEH.
  • Experience working in regulated industries or government organizations.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven incident detection and response tools.
