We are currently looking for a seasoned Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. This is a long-term engagement focused on delivering test automation, backend validation, and CI/CD integration solutions in the BFSI environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders during requirement gathering to understand business needs and translate them into actionable test strategies.
  • He/she will be responsible for developing effective test scenarios and cases, as well as participating in business discussions to clarify requirements and data dependencies.
  • The SDET will work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues, contribute to test strategy and planning for new features and enhancements, and maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • In addition, he/she will perform functional automation, assist with unit testing, API testing, security testing, DevOps, and performance testing, and mentor the team in automation design and best practices.
Candidate Profile
  • We are seeking an SDET with 8+ years of experience, preferably with exposure to Settlement or Capital Markets.
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of trade life cycle and financial processes testing.
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as Java 8, JUnit, SoapUI, Postman, Selenium, TestNG, JavaScript, Jest, Rest Assured, and Cucumber is highly desirable.
  • Experience in testing REST APIs and messaging solutions like Solace, MQ, and Kafka is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are required.
