Freight and Trade Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Freight and Trade Strategist to lead our Ocean & Air product vertical in India. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and scaling our business in this region.

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the logistics industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth, improve efficiency, and increase profitability.

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth in India
  • Manage relationships with ocean carrier partners and negotiate contracts
  • Design and implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue
  • Oversee commercial operations and ensure timely delivery of products
  • Lead a team of market experts in ocean and air freight
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 15+ years of experience in ocean freight or supply chain management
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams
  • Commercial acumen and ability to analyze data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to travel locally, nationally, and internationally
