Financial Controller Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Controller to lead our finance team in the management of financial statements, tax compliance, and investment monitoring.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Reviewing Financial Statements: Ensure that all standalone and consolidated financial statements are prepared in accordance with Ind AS / IGAAP requirements, working closely with statutory auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  2. Tax Matters: Oversee all tax-related matters, including GST, Direct Tax, and Tax Audit, ensuring timely compliance and minimizing tax liabilities.
  3. Quarterly and Year-to-Date Financial Results: Review and present quarterly and year-to-date financial results to the Board of Directors, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  4. Investment Committee Meetings: Participate in Investment Committee meetings, monitoring investments and IPS compliance, and making informed decisions that align with business objectives.
  5. Statutory Compliances: Coordinate with the corporate tax team to ensure timely submission of tax returns and adherence to statutory compliances.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Comprehensive Finance Experience: Possess comprehensive experience in finance and accounts, with expertise in finalization of accounts, financial reporting, MIS, financial controls improvement, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance, and profitability analysis.
  2. Proven NBFC Experience: Demonstrate proven experience of working in Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs).
