About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned Data Governance Strategist to oversee our enterprise-wide data governance initiatives and drive Collibra adoption.

This is an excellent opportunity to define and scale data governance practices, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and foster a culture of data excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data governance strategies using Collibra.
  • Design and configure Collibra Operating Models, including domains, assets, workflows, and roles.
  • Build and optimize custom workflows using BPMN and Workflow Designer.
  • Integrate Collibra with various platforms via APIs/connectors.
  • Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and leadership to enforce governance policies and data stewardship models.
  • Establish frameworks for data cataloging, lineage, metadata, and quality management.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and best practices to business and technical teams.
  • Act as the Collibra subject matter expert and advocate, promoting adoption and governance maturity across the organization.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Collibra experience, including platform configuration, workflow design, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
  • Expertise with Collibra APIs, BPMN, and scripting.
  • Experience with data catalog, business glossary, and lineage in Collibra.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Collibra Ranger or Solution Architect certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale Collibra deployments.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Foundation in data architecture or data engineering.
