Job Title: Content Translator for Multilingual Advertisements

We are seeking a skilled and culturally aware translator to handle the translation of advertisements into Marathi.

The ideal candidate will have excellent command of English and be proficient in Marathi, with 2+ years of experience in translation, preferably in advertising or media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate advertisement content from English to Marathi, including commercial ads, classifieds, promotional content, and display ads.
  • Evaluate accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness of translated advertisements.
  • Adapt advertising copy to suit Marathi audience sensibilities without losing the intent or promotional appeal of the original ad.
  • Review and edit final copy before going to print to ensure error-free publication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marathi Literature, Linguistics, Mass Communication, Advertising, or related fields.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills in Marathi.
  • Familiarity with advertising language, tone, and persuasive techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in basic computer tools (MS Office, Google Docs); familiarity with ad layout tools is a plus.
