Job Overview:

The role of a technical writer involves creating and maintaining various types of documentation, including installation guides, operations manuals, user manuals, API reference materials, training guides, online help systems, and context-sensitive help.

Maintenance of associated graphics is also expected. In addition, the position may involve creating marketing materials and RFPs as well.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for this position.

A strong background in language and editorial skills, with proven past experience in similar roles, is necessary.

Requirements:

At least 2-3 years of relevant experience, specifically using industry-standard tools such as AsciiDoc, Adobe RoboHelp, Arbortext Editor, and Oxygen.

Demonstrable expertise in creating, editing, and publishing technical and user documentation is essential.

Strong skills in communication, research, organization, collaboration, and teamwork are also required.

Key Competencies:

Expertise in authoring using help authoring tools such as AsciiDoc, Adobe RoboHelp, Arbortext Editor, and Oxygen is necessary.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and photo editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop is also required.
