Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Billing Developer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in systems development and Guidewire Billing experience, with expertise in enterprise-level application design, execution, and software deployments.
  • They should be familiar with configuration and development of several areas of BillingCenter, including but not limited to Account/Policy/Producer Handling, Various Plan Types, Billing Instructions, Charges, Charge Patterns, Charge Invoicing, Invoice Items, Direct/List/Agency Bill Processing, Premium Reporting, Holds and write-offs, Handling of Trouble Tickets/ Collaterals and Return Premium, Funds Tracking and Contacts.
  • Additional requirements include proficiency in programming languages such as Java and SQL, as well as experience leveraging source code management tools like GitHub or Bitbucket.
  • As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will support production deployments and automation, lead monitoring and job control, and participate in and provide support for production issues related to the Guidewire solution.
  • They should possess a robust understanding of the BillingCenter DataModel and be well-versed in all Guidewire Billing center configuration areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and develop various areas of BillingCenter
  • Design and code integration components, including plug-ins and programs that call the GW APIs
  • Create form and letter templates and their supporting XML descriptor files
  • Support production deployments and automation
  • Lead monitoring and job control, and participate in and provide support for production issues
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in systems development and Guidewire Billing experience
  • Expertise in enterprise-level application design, execution, and software deployments
