Job Title: SSIS/SSRS Lead

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SSIS/SSRS Lead to join our organization. As an SSIS/SSRS Lead, you will be responsible for leading the operations team, driving strategic direction, job monitoring, scheduling, configuration, and maintenance of batch jobs.
  • You will act as the primary contact for user inquiries, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure a seamless experience.
  • You will develop and implement operational processes, guidelines, and best practices to streamline support operations and enhance user satisfaction.
  • You will log, prioritize, and collaborate with product teams on resolving bugs and complex technical issues.

Responsibilities:

  • You will monitor critical issues, escalate as needed, and provide workarounds for unsupported functionality.
  • You will help troubleshoot, triage daily issues, and guide the team for any assistance in solving tickets.
  • You will assist in refining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to enhance service delivery and user satisfaction.
  • You will create, modify, and troubleshoot SSIS packages, stored procedures, SQL queries, automation processes, and SQL jobs with an eye on performance.
  • You will convert, manipulate, and prepare large volumes of data for ingestion into our systems using SQL Server integration tools.
  • You will create, modify, and troubleshoot reporting queries in SQL Server 2019.
  • You will maintain and support data ingestion tools and automation scripts.
  • You will manage and resolve data-related issues reported by customers and internal employees.
  • You will conduct quality and business logic checks on all data into and out of systems.
  • You will maintain high customer satisfaction with customer service, technical, and consultative skills and acquired knowledge of the work product.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field is required.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years' database and application development and support experience is essential.
  • Proven SQL language experience with highly performing SQL is necessary.
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting SSIS packages is required.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using tools like Sisense and SSRS is essential.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server is required.
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts is necessary.
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, etc.) is required.
