SAP HANA Database Administrator Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of HANA Database Administrator. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer-centric skills, excellent communication and analytical thinking, as well as a result-driven approach.

  • Responsible for managing message processing, technical incident management, service/change request management, problem management, and root cause analysis.
  • Performing installation, patching, and upgrade activities for SAP HANA databases.
  • Overseeing performance monitoring, tuning, backup, restore, and recovery procedures to ensure high availability of systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring disaster recovery setup and providing technical expertise to optimize system operations and architecture.

  • Conducting workshops and training sessions to foster knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Supervising junior colleagues to promote learning and growth.
  • Planning, setting up, and implementing technical migration projects and process improvements.

Requirements include a solid understanding of Linux operating systems, basic knowledge of database concepts, and experience in troubleshooting issues in MDC/Non-MDC environments.

  • End-to-end installation of HANA 2.0 MDC, including DB client upgrades, add-on installations, and troubleshooting related issues.
  • Expertise in monitoring alerts from HANA Studio and taking necessary actions.

The preferred candidate will have a willingness to work in rotational shifts and demonstrate strong analytical skills, technical affinity, and a customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset.
