Climate Transition Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Climate Transition Specialist to join our team in India. This role is pivotal in driving business development efforts and facilitating the energy transition through innovative, finance-focused approaches.

As a Climate Transition Specialist, you will lead market expansion initiatives and manage complex projects that align with our mission to advance climate and energy solutions. You will work closely with our leadership to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, encompassing business development, origination, new market initiatives, and project management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leverage our established network of international financial institutions and personal local connections to develop, structure, and close financial transactions for our energy transition projects in India.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (including clients, other consultants, key industry players, and regulatory bodies) to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Supervise and prepare client deliverables, including research and write-ups.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of India's electricity, capital, and financial markets. They should possess exceptional communication skills and strong connections within the Indian power and/or finance community. Proven track records in deal closure, particularly in debt and/or equity financing in India, are highly desirable.
