Job Description

As a senior server administrator, you will be responsible for leading the management of our hybrid server infrastructure. This includes maintaining and optimizing both on-premises and cloud-based environments, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Windows 365 Cloud PCs.

Key responsibilities include administering and supporting Windows Server environments across on-prem and Azure platforms, deploying, configuring, and managing Azure Virtual Machines and related services, designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, managing Windows 365 Cloud PCs, hypervisor administration, automating administrative tasks using PowerShell and Azure CLI, monitoring system performance, availability, and security, collaborating with security and compliance teams, and participating in disaster recovery planning and testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in server administration with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Proven experience managing both on-prem and Azure-based virtual machines.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 Cloud PC administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows Server OS.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Familiarity with hybrid networking, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
