Job Title: Cloud Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced cloud data architect to lead the design and implementation of large-scale data platforms in cloud environments.

This individual will oversee the development of cloud-native data solutions, ensuring scalability, resilience, and compliance of AWS-based data platforms.

  • Data Architecture Responsibilities:
  • Create scalable data pipelines and data products using cloud-based technologies.
  • Develop and optimize ELT/ETL processes using various tools and technologies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud development and provide guidance to other team members.

Cloud Development & DevOps (AWS-Focused) Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and manage cloud-native data solutions using AWS services.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud data engineering or equivalent technical role.
  • 5+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud Development & DevOps experience.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (networking, security, cost optimization).
  • Experience with Terraform and DevOps tooling.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
  • Exposure to data cataloging, governance, and quality tools.
