Job Overview
We are looking for a senior software developer with expertise in the IBM Sterling File Gateway suite and strong knowledge of SQL, Shell scripting, and Java.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement integrations using the IBM Sterling File Gateway suite (Sterling Integrator, Sterling Map Editor, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, Perimeter Servers, Sterling Control Centre).
- Develop data mappings to ensure seamless data transfer.
- Work on file transfer protocols (FTPs/SFTP/Connect:Direct) and certificate management basics (TLS/SSL/OCSP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy applications through Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, utilizing tools like Jenkins.
- Ensure secure and efficient data transfer using version control systems like GIT.
- Bonus points for knowledge in Cloud/Containers/Kubernetes concepts.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the IBM Sterling File Gateway suite.
- Strong understanding of SQL, Shell scripting, and Java programming languages.
- Knowledge of file transfer protocols (FTPs/SFTP/Connect:Direct) and certificate management basics (TLS/SSL/OCSP).
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and Jenkins tool.
- Experience with version control systems like GIT.
- Optional: Knowledge of Cloud/Containers/Kubernetes concepts.
