About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our global operations in preparation of layout in Feasibility study and project phase, including but not limited to CAD modelling of conceptual 2D and 3D layouts of complete WtE and CCU plants with infrastructure and preparation of google sketch-up and other visualisations. The role also involves review of contractors detailed layout, collection and merge of CAD models from all project parties using different software into an aggregate model to be used for design coordination between the parties. Additionally, the successful candidate will prepare PIDs and PFDs, collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements, interact with clients and obtain necessary inputs for layout preparation, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of 3D modelling software, Bentley MicroStation software updates, and industry best practices.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Layout Engineer who has a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, proficiency in German, good English communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders, minimum of 8 years experience in Layout modelling preparation of WtE Thermal power plants or similar, comprehensive experience with layout modelling work in 3D as well as 2D in Bentley MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, strong understanding of drafting techniques, engineering principles, and construction practices, ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, and diligence, focus, and attention to detail.
