Web Development Lead Position

We are seeking an accomplished and experienced Web Development Manager to lead our team of developers, overseeing full-cycle web development projects and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery aligned with business objectives.

This leadership role requires expertise in architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter) and WordPress.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team of web developers and project managers.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution — from requirement gathering to delivery — ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Implement best practices in coding, architecture, and project management.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and performance evaluations for the development team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on PHP and WordPress.
  • Proven experience in leading web development teams and managing complex projects.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in one or more PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, multisite, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git), deployment tools, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with hosting environments and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Agile/Scrum project management experience.
