Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will evangelize and continuously work towards organizational understanding on the capabilities of AI/ML.

They will work with senior leadership to understand business processes and propose strategic use of AI/ML to enhance business outcomes.

As a thought leader, they will partner with functional heads to understand and solve business challenges in managing and growing their portfolio leveraging AI & Analytics solutions.

The candidate will translate business problems and hypotheses into analytical problems and build solutions leveraging AI/ML techniques to drive strategic initiatives end-to-end.

They will define and develop an approach to scale AI/ML agenda at Max Life through various AI/ML solutions.

The successful candidate will enable business decision-making and co-create data-driven business strategies through storytelling with data and presenting insights to top business leaders.

They will build and manage external relationships with cross-industry and academia forums for outside-in perspectives, seeking new and innovative approaches and showcasing learnings.

Responsibilities include driving AI & Analytics projects end-to-end, including conceptualization, development, implementation, and continuous monitoring.

Additionally, they will build and nurture a strong team to become next-generation business-focused problem solvers, with a strong culture of solution delivery, continuous learning, and experimentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong collaboration and influence skills to challenge conventional thinking.
  • Strong analytical thinking and storytelling with data skills, along with presenting insights to top business leaders.
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task, prioritize, and govern project execution.
  • Demonstrated passion for AI/ML/Data Science/Gen AI through developed solutions.
  • Hands-on experience and detailed knowledge of Analytics/ML/Deep tech/GenAI technologies and applications.
  • Hands-on experience with various open-source tools and technologies, such as Python, R, Spark, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with deploying AI/ML solutions in cloud environments.
  • Experience with ML/DL/Gen AI frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of new-age cloud-based frameworks and services around Gen AI, Vision, Text, and Speech AI.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a client-facing data science consulting role.

Measure of Success:

  • Ability to form partnerships with functional leaders and influence decision-making through data.
  • Improvement in operational efficiencies/enabling business goals achievement of functions supported.
  • Execute organization-wide initiatives.
  • Number of AI/ML use case implementations.
  • Improvements in algorithm outcome and ensuring model performance as expected at all times.
  • Manage team engagement, growth, and talent pipeline.
