Job Title: Creative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Creative Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in supporting faculty and students in their creative projects, ensuring smooth production processes from planning to final delivery.

  • Assist with the execution of film and video projects, providing technical guidance on camera operations, lighting, and sound setup.
  • Support on-set activities, including logistics, equipment handling, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Manage and maintain production equipment, ensuring availability and functionality.
  • Offer video editing support using industry-standard software.
  • Guide students in basic editing techniques, media management, and storytelling through visuals.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during production and post-production.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain experience in film/video production and work closely with students and faculty members.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in film/video production.
  • Proven track record in assisting with film shoots and editing projects.
Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of filmmaking production workflows.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Hands-on experience with cameras, audio equipment, and lighting.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Physically fit to handle the rigors of film production.
  • Self-starter, and ability to work with little supervision.
  • Strong communication and mentoring ability for working with students.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying production needs and schedules.
