Job Title: Cloud Data Manager

Snowflake Administrator Needed

We are looking for a skilled Snowflake administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake administration, database management, performance tuning, security, and automation.

A successful candidate will be able to manage Snowflake accounts, users, roles, and permissions following RBAC principles. Additionally, they will oversee databases, schemas, tables, and data pipelines in Snowflake.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage Snowflake accounts, users, roles, and permissions following RBAC principles.
  • Oversee databases, schemas, tables, and data pipelines in Snowflake.
  • Implement security best practices including encryption, data masking, network policies, and audit logging.
  • Develop scripts for monitoring, alerting, and automating administrative tasks (SQL, Python, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Track warehouse utilization, storage, and query performance; identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience as a Snowflake Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake features: Virtual Warehouses, Clustering, Time Travel, Data Sharing, Resource Monitors, Tasks, Streams.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SnowPro Core or SnowPro Advanced certification.
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.
  • Familiarity with Datadog, Splunk, or other monitoring tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work across teams.
