Business Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance.

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Functional Consultant.
  • US PC Commercial Insurance, Property and Liability Lines of Business domain knowledge with relevant certifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading the implementation and support of Policy Administration Systems (PAS), with excellent skills in requirement analysis, system design, solutioning, effort estimation, sprint planning, and facilitation.

A good understanding of various functions like quote, policy, claims, billing, rating, coverage for multiple Lines of Business is essential. Additionally, they should have excellent knowledge on PAS features, including setting up User Interface screens, workflows, triggers, rating algorithms, forms, documents, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation and support of PC Insurance Policy administration systems.
  • Analyze requirements and design solutions.
  • Estimate efforts and plan sprints.
  • Facilitate stakeholders and teams.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Functional Consultant.
  • US PC Commercial Insurance, Property and Liability LOBs domain knowledge with relevant certifications.
Desirable Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge on PAS features, including setting up UI screens, workflows, triggers, rating algorithms, forms, documents, etc.
  • Good understanding of various functions like quote, policy, claims, billing, rating, coverage for multiple Lines of Business.
