Job Description:

  • Key Responsibilities
    • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Data Architect to study our existing technology landscape, understand the current data integration framework, and conduct an impact assessment for new requirements.
    • You will develop Spark jobs using Scala for new project requirements, enhance existing Spark jobs for ongoing product enhancements, and optimize performance of Spark jobs through stress testing.
    • Create new data pipelines for developed/enhanced Spark jobs using AWS Lambda or Apache Airflow, and design databases, including logical design, physical design, star schema, and snowflake schema.
    • Analyze data processing, integration, modeling, and reporting requirements to define data loading strategies based on volume, data types, frequency, and analytics specifications.
    • Maintain an optimal balance between cost and performance, document projects, and adhere to quality guidelines and schedules.
    • Collaborate with PMs for successful project delivery, providing estimation, scoping, and scheduling assistance, manage build phases, and ensure code quality, resolving complex design and development issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Demonstrated continued learning through technical certifications or related methods.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Cloud-related projects.
