Job Title: Formulation Development and Research Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Formulation Development and Research Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

  • We require a manager to lead the development of pharmaceutical formulations, ensuring timely delivery to regulated markets.
  • The ideal candidate will evaluate manufacturing processes using Design of Experiments (DoE) and Quality by Design (QbD) to define design space, control strategy, critical/key parameters, and identify process risks.
  • This role involves screening manufacturing sites based on formulation and process complexity/feasibility.
  • The successful candidate will lead Technology transfer function with project management skills to ensure successful scale-up of new products and effective launches within stipulated time.
  • This position requires defining procedures for seamless product transfers between development and manufacturing, ensuring robust scale-up, accurate filings, and successful launches.
  • As Subject Matter Expert (SME), the candidate will provide guidance in tech transfer, troubleshooting, and investigations to ensure robust performance and timely supply.
  • The Formulation Development and Research Manager will define and implement standards for formulation technology transfer and be the point contact for formulation technology transfer activities.
  • This role involves initiating, driving, and facilitating capacity enhancement, cost reduction, and time cycle reduction projects.
  • The successful candidate will review and approve departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with cGMP and CQA guidelines, technical changes, change control, deviations, and relevant documents.
