Quality Assurance Engineer Role

About this Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the way in ensuring software quality.

This role involves developing comprehensive test strategies, creating automation frameworks, and integrating automated tests into our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement thorough test plans, cases, and automation frameworks.
  • Create and maintain sophisticated automated test scripts for functional, performance, and security testing.
  • Conduct regression, exploratory, and usability testing to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or Bugzilla, collaborating closely with developers for resolution.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with industry standards such as GDPR and ISO 27001.
  • Deliver actionable test reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and mentor junior QA engineers while contributing to best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman and REST Assured.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and performance testing frameworks like JMeter and LoadRunner.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to thrive in an agile environment.
