Portfolio Director

Description

We are seeking a Portfolio Director to lead cross-functional initiatives across IT and non-IT domains, including supply chain, infrastructure, and marketing. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and expertise in program management methodologies to deliver high-impact results.

This key appointment will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering multiple projects of varying size and complexity across IT and non-IT functions.

The successful candidate will define project methodologies, create templates, and establish best practices for project governance. They will also develop and maintain the Knowledge Management System (KMS).

Key responsibilities include identifying, assessing, and tracking program risks, issues, and opportunities to support data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors. They will also supervise project managers and scrum masters to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.

Monitoring progress, preparing MIS reports, and presenting updates to leadership are essential aspects of this role. A graduate degree with proven Program/Project Management experience is required, along with formal training in program and project management methodologies.

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, excellent communication (verbal and written), MIS reporting, and presentation skills are essential. Ability to multitask and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously is also required.

Preferred qualifications include certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master. A track record of successful program delivery across IT, supply chain, infrastructure, and marketing is highly desirable. Experience with Oracle Fusion implementation is also an advantage.
