Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Operations Manager to drive the delivery of our SaaS product offerings to Bio-Pharma customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux, scripting, and cloud technology, with expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical leadership to SaaS Operations Production Operations teams
  • Implementing the Cloud Operations team's goals and deliverables as determined by Leadership
  • Ensuring smooth operations of SaaS products
  • Taking complete ownership of customer implementations, including SLA and SLO
  • Automating, enhancing, and maintaining critical processes in Cloud Operations
  • Driving disaster recovery and failover procedures, training, testing, and team readiness
  • Coordinating focus groups across all teams on process improvements and technical improvements

Essential Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in implementing, managing, maintaining, and decommissioning complex cloud-based information system components in a secure and controlled manner
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to address product issues successfully
  • Strong understanding of how to build, scale, and manage complex multi-product/service environments
  • Building lean, automated, scalable support structures versus labor-intensive environments
  • Strong innovation mindset, analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience effectively communicating project/program mission and objectives

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a customer service environment, mentoring, and training team members
